Completion of the Second Pelton Runner for Mangdechhu Hydropower Project.
Bhutan Hydropower Services Limited (BHSL) has successfully achieved another milestone by completing the manufacturing of the second Pelton Runner for the Mangdechhu Hydropower Project (MHP). The first Pelton Runner was completed and handed over to MHP in April 2024. BHSL remains strongly committed to its mandate of producing high-quality components and products.

The transportation of the penstock ferrules manufactured by BHSL have started from its manufacturing centre at BHSL. The maiden consignment of the ferrules have been despatched from BHSL on 14th February 2024 bound for Suchhu, Haa. The consignment is part of the hydro-mechanical works being undertaken by BHSL for Druk Hydro Energy Limited.

Annual Health Review
The employees underwent an annual health checkup on August 27, 2021. A day long medical screening is organized annually for the employees as a part of employee wellness program for improvement of health and productivity of the employees. Contract Agreement
BHSL and BPC signed a contract agreement for the construction of the transformer repair and maintenance center for BPC at Jigmeling. After the completion of the construction, the center shall cater the repair and maintenance of transformers of the southern region. The center shall be built adjacent to BHSL factory to utilize the synergistic advantage.

COVID-19 Test
